anonymous LJ attacks

Who are the idiots that anonymously attack people on LJ, anyway? Do they get some kind of bizarre satisfaction out of it? "Nyah nyah, I know who you are, but you don't know who I am!" I've gotten two attacks on my journal within the past week, and somebody actually posted an attack on me in Jake's journal. And then I just read Sharon's latest post and somebody posted an attack on her. Get with it, guys: insulting anonymous posts don't prove anything except that the poster is too cowardly to confront you in person.

And just because I want to see if these guys understand irony, I'm going to leave this post public. Have fun, assholes.

actually, i have no clue if you know who i am. last time i saw you in person was 03.1 but online was about two seconds ago as i saw your response to a thread directly following mine. i have no clue what GAQED or tewc mean.

You are the one who goes by the name Nathan Cooper on the board? I don't think I know you...but you saw me during 03.1, you say? Maybe I do.

Anyway, TEWC means "the enlightened will comprehend," generally meaning that the preceding was an inside joke (in this case it was). GAQED stands for Germans Are Quite Easily Done, and is a very inside joke from THEO 03.1.

yeah, i was Sarah Cooper in 03.1...you probably didn't notice me, but i was the one with dorky clothes and long poofy hair, often with a disposable camera, if that helps at all...i was on the same hall as Maddie and Alexia and Cordelia and Alexa.
