Being at RIT, I feel compelled to add 2 cents. I don't have a car, which means I'm effectively stuck on campus. Sometimes I feel like I'm on the Moon (with an internet connection) - RIT's that isolating. Just because U of R and RIT are in the same city doesn't mean a student of one will see people of the other, unless they make a deliberate effort to go looking.
And it's damned cold here. Bring lots of warm things.
